2019 Fifth Annual Party With a Purpose

What a fantastic night! Thank you all for joining us at The Galleria Marchetti on Saturday, February 23rd. The Pulaski community had a blast. Thanks to you all we raised  a record $66,933 (WOW!) for campus improvements. ONE NIGHT | ONE GOAL

What is Party with a Purpose?

Party with a Purpose (PWAP) is a cocktail party and silent auction to raise funds for the improvement of our playgrounds and outdoor spaces. It is put on by the Friends of Pulaski‘s and is our signature fundraising event.

This is our 5th year of hosting this wonderful fundraiser and last year we raised over $40,000!

What is “Friends of Pulaski”?

Friends of Pulaski is an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) comprised of parent and community volunteers charged with volunteering and raising money to support high-quality educational programming for all the students at Pulaski.

How is the money raised for Party With a Purpose?

Money is raised partially through ticket sales, but mostly through the silent auction.  If you can’t attend the party, you can participate in online bidding from home starting on Feb 19.  Details to come.

You can get amazing deals on a variety of items and every dollar from the silent auction goes straight to supporting Pulaski.

Who is invited to PWAP?

YOU! Parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors, teachers and anyone who loves Pulaski is invited to attend. Book your babysitters now, because it’s an adults only event.

What if I can’t attend the event? Can I still participate?
There are a lot of ways to participate in Party With a Purpose and you can do so at any price point:

$1 school raffle tickets. Students can win fun prizes at school.
Buy a ticket for a teacher
Bid on auction items from home starting Feb 19
If you own a business, be a sponsor! For details, email Kelli Rogers at robertson.kellie@gmail.com
Be a sponsor family (option available where you buy tickets)

What do I wear?

Whatever you like. Cocktail attire is encouraged, but not required.

What are some of the silent auction items?

Cubs tickets, museum passes, weekend getaways, sports memorabilia, gift cards from local businesses, spa days, classroom art projects, a special outing with your favorite teacher and even the chance for your child to be “Principal for a Day!”

Many other items that have been generously donated will be included in the silent auction which opens online on February 19.

How can I get involved and help out with PWAP?
